Selected Tour Operator Announcements

 

Jet2Holidays passengers travelling on or before 30th June 2020:

On 22nd May 2020, Jet2Holidays extended its cancellations to all bookings up to and including 30th June 2020. We will be contacting affected customers between Tuesday 26th - Friday 29th May to discuss your options with you. You don't have to do anything in the meantime.

 


 

TUI passengers travelling on or before 30th June 2020:

On 28th May 2020,  TUI extended its cancellations to all bookings up to and including 30th June 2020. We will be contacting affected customers in departure date order. You don't have to do anything in the meantime.

 

Marella Cruises passengers travelling on or before 30th July 2020:

On 28th May 2020, Marella Cruises extended its cancellations to all bookings up to and including 30th July 2020. We will be contacting affected customers in departure date order. You don't have to do anything in the meantime.

 


 

Specialist Leisure Group (Shearings, National Holidays, Caledonian Travel) in administration:

On 22nd May 2020, Specialist Leisure Group, which includes Shearings, National Holidays and Caledonian Travel, announced that it has entered administration.

 

If you have a booking with any of the brands affected by this announcement, we will be in contact over the next few weeks to assist with the refund claims process.

 


An important message to all customers

 

If your booking is affected in any way by tour operator changes or cancellations, we will contact you.

 

We are contacting all affected customers in departure date order. Our remote team of travel advisors are working extremely hard to serve as many customers per day as possible.

 

Our remote team is much smaller than our usual store teams, so this will take some time. We appreciate our customers' patience and understanding.

 

This week we're contacting customers with departure dates up to and including: June 2020

 

We would be extremely grateful if customers could refrain from contacting their store phone number or email address until further notice. This will allow our travel advisors to serve the maximum number of customers per day as possible.

 

Our remote team are working:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays)

 

We ask for your patience and understanding during this extraordinarily challenging time. We will be in touch, we are here to help you through this.

Original statement regarding temporary store closures (issued 24th March 2020):

 

Our remote advisors are currently prioritising contacting customers in the order they are due to travel.

 

We apologise if it is taking longer than usual to get through to us and ask for your patience and understanding. We are still open for business, just working away from our stores for the time being to protect and support our nation's key workers and carers. We are tremendously grateful for all that they do.

 

Thank you again for your support and understanding.

 

The health and safety of our valued customers and colleagues is paramount to everything that we do.

 

In line with the most recent UK government advice to enforce social distancing and safeguard the health of those around us, we are temporarily closing our stores until further notice.

 

Rest assured, our teams are here to help and will be working remotely to support you in any way they can.

It's important that you know we are still here for you. Our stores are at the heart of many communities and it will be our mission to look out for one another even moreso during this time.

 

From Tuesday 24th March, we are introducing the following temporary contact hours for new and existing customers.

 

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays)

 

We love seeing you in person and we will miss you immensely. However, nothing is more important than protecting the health of our customers and those closest to us all. You may wish to find and follow your local store on Facebook for the latest travel updates and news of store reopenings.
